Andy’s 24th run – February 2026

A lot of behind the scenes aid collection has been happening over the last week as we prepare for our departure on the 4th February!
Huge thanks to Valentyna Skoromets and The Hailsham Choral Society for providing a lot of aid for the front line. We will get it to them this week!

We are once again grateful to Medi Tech Trust for once again helping us with much needed aid. Unfortunately the video was corrupted but I did get a picture of the thank you certificate from a military unit which I presented to Stuart.

On 4th Feb, 8 days later than planned, Tony and Andy set off!

We made good progress – a lot of snow in Germany and Poland. This video was made as we approached Katowice:

Then it was soon time for our favourite game!

1hr 47 minutes to get across the border, most of which was on the Polish side. Next stop was Vinnitsya where we had a hotel kindly provided once again by Valentyna Skoromets.

First up was a day trip to Zaporizhzhia:

Once back in Krop, we were able to get some quality time with our hosts and friends Anton, Liza and their children. Both are talented musically and we were treated to a small concert from them both! They also kindly presented us with traditional embroidered shirts.

On the 9th February, we visited the Orphanage together with Aton.

The next day, it was an early start for our trip down to Odesa.

Whilst Tony was visiting a friend in Odesa, Andy spent the evening with Olexander and Julia at their home. During the evening, Andy received another certificate of thanks from one of the hospitals we support.

This is the official video from I Will Help:

Andy received another certificate of appreciation from the Clinical Sanatorium “Arcadia” of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine for his support of Ukraine and assistance to medical institutions and military personnel.

It was a somewhat noisy night in Odesa with multiple attacks on the City. We had a front seat view from our apartment!: You can hear why they call the Shaheds “Mopeds”!

We also handed over some aid for the drone unit near Kherson via Anton which included some vital medical items provided by Valentyna Skoromets – we were unable to visit them ourselves this time – they sent this thank you video:

And then it was all over – until the next one!
