{"id":315,"date":"2023-03-06T08:29:58","date_gmt":"2023-03-06T08:29:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/andywooler.info\/brassbandaid2026\/?p=315"},"modified":"2026-03-12T19:42:37","modified_gmt":"2026-03-12T19:42:37","slug":"run-14-march-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/andywooler.info\/brassbandaid2026\/runs\/run-14-march-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"First aid from Brass Band Aid for Ukraine &#8211; March 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Run 14, or run 13 from the UK!, is now well underway and the team have safely arrived in Brovary after a non stop drive all the way from Weeze in Germany&#8221;! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This run includes for the first time, aid collected in the Sussex area under the banner of &#8220;Brass Band Aid for Ukraine&#8221;, together with a lot of medical equipment and aid from both Mike&#8217;s team in Scunthorpe and our friends in Germany. Mike is joined by Guy from Weeze as codriver for this run. <br><br> Here&#8217;s the aid being unloaded in Brovary:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1280\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 720 \/ 1280;\" width=\"720\" controls src=\"http:\/\/andywooler.info\/brassbandaid2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/334382318_6009145129172840_5751210225817784765_n.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1280\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 720 \/ 1280;\" width=\"720\" controls src=\"http:\/\/andywooler.info\/brassbandaid2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/bbaid.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Whilst there, they planned to deliver the medical aid personally to Bakhmut &#8211; however, things change rapidly out there and these items will now be taken out by Marina&#8217;s team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They have though made it to Kharviv with a delivery which included walkers and wheelchairs for a home for the mentally and physically handicapped.
